I'm researching the history of Hastings Unitarian Church, and have come across a 'Mr Deeprose who gave a talk at the church on 8th April 1886 on the subject of George Stephenson. I don't have his initials, unfortunately, but he would have to have been born before, say, 1861 to have been giving a talk to the South Terrace Mutual Improvement Society, which met at the church. Anything you could do to identify this person any information you have about him would be useful.
